Please visit any of the below food banks today with 5 non-perishable food items to donate, and pick up your tickets for the November 9th performance at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. - The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network) located at 211 Fulton Ave in Hempstead, Long Island - The Community Food Bank of New Jersey located at 31 Evans Terminal Road in Hillside, NJ - Yorkville Common Pantry located at Eight East 109th Street in New York City Please note that passes will be given out on a first come, first served basis. Any individual that donates 10 or more non-perishable food items will be eligible to receive two passes to the show. However, no more than two passes will be awarded to any one individual. In addition, if you make a donation to one of the three food banks listed above after all of the passes have already been given out, you can still enter your name to win passes via a lottery.

O.A.R. In New York City 2009-10-27 O.A.R. has teamed up with <a href="http://www.hardrock.com/">Hard Rock International</a> to be the Global Ambassador for their 2009 IMAGINE THERE’S NO HUNGER campaign to benefit <a href="http://www.whyhunger.org/">WHY</a>, a nonprofit organization that strives to fight against hunger and poverty in America and around the world. To kick off the campaign, the band will be doing a very special performance at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square on Monday, November 9th. To gain entry to this show you will need to be one of the first 300 people to bring 5 non-perishable food items to one of the three Emergency Food Providers listed below: - The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network) located at 211 Fulton Ave in Hempstead, Long Island - The Community Food Bank of New Jersey located at 31 Evans Terminal Road in Hillside, NJ - Yorkville Common Pantry located at Eight East 109th Street in New York City Food donations for this campaign will be accepted beginning at 9 AM on Thursday, November 5th. Passes for the show will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis and are expected to go quickly (only 100 tickets per location). Please note, individuals that donate 10 or more non-perishable food items are eligible to receive two passes to the show. However, no more than two passes will be awarded to any one individual. Anyone who makes a food donation to one of the three designated Emergency Food Providers on November 5th but does not receive a pass to the show can enter their name to be a part of a lottery. All emergency food providers will close promptly at 5pm. For those unable to attend the food drive on November 5th, tickets and passes for a meet and greet with the band will be available via auction at <a href="http://www.charityfolks.com/oar">www.charityfolks.com/oar</a> beginning, Monday, October 26th at 3 PM ET. All of the proceeds from this auction will be donated directly to WHY to help support their efforts to fight global hunger and poverty. O.A.R. Collective Event at The Ohio State University 2009-10-27 On Friday, October 30th at 11:30 AM the band will be stopping by Barnes & Noble The OSU Bookstore for a special acoustic performance and meet and greet. To attend this event, head on over to The OSU Bookstore on Thursday, October 29th at 9 AM to pick up a wristband. The event is FREE to the public but a wristband is needed to help ensure entry into the event. Each wristband given out will be numbered and the first 200 hundred people who pick up wristbands will be given priority in the meet and greet. Barnes & Noble The OSU Bookstore is located at 1598 N. Grand Rapids 11/2/09 Venue Change 2009-10-23 We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause, but due circumstances out of our control, the band is switching venues for the November 2nd Grand Rapids show from DeVos Performance Hall to The Orbit Room, which is located on the north east corner of 28th Street (hwy 11) and the East Beltline (hwy 37). All tickets sold for DeVos Performance Hall show will be honored at The Orbit Room. Fans that purchased their tickets during the presale will be allowed early entry to the show at 6:00PM.
