The Heard the World Fund is a charitable entity created by O.A.R., to support youth, education and sustainable programs both in the U.S. and abroad. Through music and awareness, you can give a voice to those in need. The goal of The Heard the World Fund is to provide resources for under-funded youth; to give, create and help build a better future.
The Green Dream was created by O.A.R. to raise awareness about recycling, while educating fans on the environmental impact they can have in their communities. The band partnered with the Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) to provide expertise in climate change challenges in the area of renewable energy, greenhouse gas inventories, LEED certification and climate science. The earth’s surface temperature is rising. If greenhouse gas emissions aren’t reduced, experts predict adverse impacts on human health and the destruction of ecosystems. O.A.R. hopes to make recycling even easier during O.A.R.’s tour with multiple recycling stations at every show. Please stash your trash properly and help out.
