I really wanted to go to the show & game but tickets were sold out. It sucks that some a'holes got to go and i didn't. Now this is the first I've heard about the voice thing with Marc. I've seen O.A.R. many times and each time they were great, so to say the show was terrible is hard to believe. I have to say that if this were some other band they may have canceled their show all together. So O.A.R. just showed everyone what kind of band they really are. They play for the TRUE FANS who can appreciate them and still enjoy the show even when something like this happens . So to all of you out there talking crap cause Marc's voice went out, shut up, we really don't care what you have to say.

Worst show I've ever seen. What a joke these guys are. Lead singer lost his voice, this happens. The rest of the band does'nt know the lyrics to the songs they play every night. Maybe they should'nt be a signed band. At least jam a couple cover songs. I've seen many of bar bands that can hold their s*** together under these circumstances. OAR owes Pittsburgh a free show.

I drove all the way from Kentucky to see the pirates but mostly to see OAR, and I have to say that I was very happy with the experience. You all were amazing and I have enjoyed your music forever. I have great respect for you all after everything you continued with the music and the concert was amazing!!! Thank you!

Thank you for another great show guys. I was with several people who had never heard of O.A.R. and they all loved it. I think the voice issue actually made them more intrigued because now they want to hear you sounding your best, since they liked you so much as you were. Regardless, one of the best renditions of Poker ever!

wow, totally rude (comment below). The band showed much heart, and yes, maybe no other band member could "carry a tune" but it was an unexpected situation, and I believe they made the best of it. The instrumentals alone were amazing, and they did complete MULTIPLE songs, just without the words. If you paid a lot to see an O.A.R. concert, I would assume you are a fan and would know how much effort the guys put into this show. AND it was a pirate game, not an exclusive O.A.R. concert alone. So chill out.

Of course everyone is supportive, BUT - how can you people get on here and say it was a great show?!?! The show itself SUCKED. Yes, the singer lost his voice...are you telling me you don't have 1 other band member that a) can carry a tune 2) knows the words to the songs. We paid a LOT of money for an O.A.R concert and instead all we saw the pirates get their asses kicked....again. So don't say it was a great show, blah blah. The musicians are talented, but they played, what, 1 complete song the whole night? Did anyone else notice the entire stadium empty 5 minutes into the show? I did...

Never saw OAR...never even HEARD of you before your appearance at PNC Park's Skyblast. You guys were AWESOME! I love your unique style of music and am on my way to the Mall to get a CD or two. The way you guys kept it going in a tough situation...are you sure you're not Pittsburghers??

I wasn't familiar w/ your band (although I did recognize one song that you played), but just happened to be there for Skyblast with ~40 family members to celebrate my awesome Grandma's 90th birthday. You guys really stepped up to put on a great show in a tough situation. I thought you'd like to know that my whole family was sympathetic to the challenge and we were all THOROUGHLY impressed with how you pulled it off. As we were leaving, my sister and I were both planning to look you up and buy some music, and even my (admittedly very cool) Gram said she loved your show. Good job and thanks!

I just want to let you know that you guys were AMAZING as PNC Park. I'm so happy I went to this one. I got to see a side of you that I didn't see before. Every emotion was so genuine. It was like every lyric meant something to you, and you weren't just reciting the same old songs. You guys really are one of the best live bands out there. You focus so much on the music. I can feel that music to you is not just something that you love, but it's a part of you. And Marc, when you lost your voice, I could almost feel your heart breaking. And when you got it back it was like a slight surge of joy passed through you and onto us. Thank you for that. I'll never forget that rush of emotions or music.

Saturday night was what O.A.R. is all about, the music! Fans love the true music, dedication, and hard work that goes into O.A.R. Thank you SO much for still giving us what we love despite a minor glitch. It was a memorable night that is for sure!! Take care of yourself Marc!

I was more than pumped to get OAR's autograph after the concert. I went to college in Ohio and became an instant/life long fan. I can't say how much your music means to me and the time "yinz" guys spent after the show for us fans.

I've been a O.A.R. fan for ages-before their music was played on the radio and I went to concerts when they were held in gyms of schools. I loved them back then, and after last nights show I love them even more. It was amazing how everyone came through and put on one hell of a show. You could tell how badly they wanted to perform for their fans and it undoubtebly impressed everyone. I was surprisingly moved seeing how much Marc wanted to be on that stage singing for everyone and when he came back on...wow...I got chills. Kudos for an unforgettable show--I can't wait to see you in Cleveland the next time you come around!

You know, not to be a complete downer or anything, but I was anticipating this concert all summer. I was unable to see the band at any of their other shows and cannot get to any of their future shows this season. When Marc lost his voice, I did feel for him. He was genuinely trying. BUT...that still doesn't mean a true fan can't be disappointed with the performance. I'm pretty surprised that no one else in the band had the ability to sing the songs (save for the keyboard player that gave an OK attempt). Honestly, I am annoyed that I wasted a night on that show...parking was a nightmare...the pirates are terrible...at least zambelli came through.

The concert last night was very touching and inspiring. You guys are an amazing group of people and most definitely made my night. Your music always puts a smile on my face, and that is quite often being you're my favorite band :) But after last night, you guys brought it to a whole new level. Not only did you put on amazing show despite Marc's voice giving out, you guys stuck around after for the fans. Thank you for everything you do. Can't wait to see you again! Awesome show

You guys were incredible last night. I truly appreciate the entire band coming together when Marc couldn't sing and still making an amazing sound. I nearly got chills when he stepped back up to the mic on "About Mr. Brown". Despite having no voice, Marc still put on a great performance. I enjoyed every song and probably looked like an idiot dancing by my seat, but it was the most fun I'd had at PNC Park in a long time (thanks Pirates management). I hope to see you guys back near Pittsburgh soon, you can bet I'll be in attendance. Last night cemented me as a life long fan.

A week ago, I would've pronounced the band's name as 'oar'. Heard you for the first time at PNC Park and am a new fan. Great performance. I thought the fans were very respectful and patient, and then obviously quite impressed! As for the other music playing during most of the fireworks - that's always the case at Skyblast - it should've been obvious by the way the fireworks were choreographed to the music! I loved the ending with the live music from the band paired with the fireworks finale. Great show.

THANK YOU to O.A.R. for giving a performance from the heart last night at Skyblast in PNC park. Marc, I could tell early on that you were frustrated and then disappointed that your best instrument, your voice, wasn't delivering for you. I don't know how you did it, but you came back and sang your heart out for the last few songs! My friends and I were impressed with the entire band, Jerry especially who WAILED those saxes! You have some new fans from that performance last night! Your band has heart! We love your sound and cannot wait to see you guys again! Please come back to Pittsburgh soon for an encore!

I wanted to say thank you to the group for such an awesome performance in Pittsburgh. I hadn't heard of the band before, but I was blown away by the show. I'm sure it did not go as planned, but I was so impressed of how all of you kept going. My heart went out to Marc, for he is truely an exceptional performer. Thanks again for hanging in there!! Hope you come back for another show!

Truly inspirational performance last night. The way that the band came together under tough circumstances was remarkable. And Marc, what a trooper, to be able to fight through it and come back out for the end of the set. You gave it everything that you had . I've seen O.A.R. numerous times before and you rocked it out once again. I can't wait to catch you guys again. O.A.R. ROCKS!!!!

Before the concert last night, I was only a casual fan of the band and, to be honest, was pleasantly surprised to hear they were performing after the game. I went to the game with my family, all of whom also were unaware of the concert. Needless to say, OAR has 4 new fans today. Awesome performance despite Marc's ailing voice! Their unique sound kept everyone entertained even when things didn't go as planned. There was so much heart in their effort!

Great job, guys! Hope to see you guys back in the 'Burgh soon!!

I had never seen O.A.R live before lastnight, but you guys were amazing! It was truly inspiring to see the band step up and do whatever necessary to keep the show goin, then to see Marc come back and fight through and deliver one hell of a show. It completely won the crowd over! Everyone in the crowd aterwards were saying how moved and impressed they were that you guys overcame and that seeing that made the show even better. You guys shot up to one of my favorites, looks ive got some more cd's to purchase and i will absolutely be at any O.A.R shows that are near wherever i am. Thanks for the unforgettable performance!

Hearing you fight through make me respect u guys even more than i already did and im really looking forward to seeing you guys again in the Burgh soon!

I have to be honest here. I have heard of these guys before because of what has been on the radio, but I have to say that the artistic ability is unreal. I really enjoyed that last night after the game..I cant put into words how impressed I was with the teamwork of this group when Marc's voice came up empty. Its obviously a testament to the groups love for each other and the will to thrill their fans. Fellas, you have another one now. Tons of passion. Great heart. Awesome stuff. I will make it to the next show thats nearby. No question.

I was at the show and it was incredible! My heart went out to Marc! He tried so hard to sing, but there was nothing he could do. The other band members really stepped in and worked together to give us a great show. It truly shows what a great team this band is. When Marc came back out and gave us that last song...it was awesome! You guys gave it your all! It was fantastic!

I waited all summer to see OAR, and was not disapointed at all...I mostly felt bad for Marc, who tried so hard to give us a great show. The band is so tight, they really played their hearts out...and Marc rallying to make his fans happy was over the top!! Was a great night all the way around....

OAR rocked Skyblast and Pittsburgh!! Please come back soon!!!

I enjoy that we are questioning my ability to become a true fan because I, and about one thousand others who stood outside the stadium to hear them finish their set, thought the concert was over. We didn't "bail" on the band, we thought the concert was over. We were tired of dealing with the PNC Park staff who wouldn't let people like us holding standing room only tickets just sit in the empty seats after all the people left. Say what you like, but I feel like more of a fan because I AM upset I missed a show.

My husband and I really felt for Marc's situation at Skyblast. We were so proud to be part of an audiance that showed so much class and support. The talent and professionalism of the whole band is impressive and inspiring. The band members that stepped up to cover the lyrics for Marc did a terrific job! Marc, we hope you feel better! Please come back to Pittsburgh soon. ..And thank you all for the wonderful music you give us.

ithink that the band did an amazing job. this show really proved what a great band this is because they were able to power through even when Marc's voice wasn't up to par. a lot of people were really inpressed at the way Marc pushed through. Thanks so much for putting so much effort in! Great job!

To Djacks, this is the way skyblast works... the music played inbetwen is not that of the band on stage. shoulda done more research before driving all the way there. Also, real fans would have stayed to hear the band even if Marc was unable to perform... which he did, and very well i might add. next time, wait for a concert rather than a skyblast Djacks.

Feel better soon Marc. It was great to see you guys (haven't seen you since the All Star game in Pittsburgh) and I am so thrilled you hung in there to give your fans a show, no matter what. And the other band members really stepped up with the acoustics - thanks! Hope you make it back really soon ...

My wife, my buddy, and I all went and were really bummed out. We love OAR but when Mark lost his voice and they started playing other bands' music on CD to the fireworks we left, chalking it up as a loss. It really sucked to hear them resume after we were outside the stadium. It's a shame, they're in the area so rarely, we were REALLY stoked about the concert and it just didn't work. I feel bad for Mark, but we drove the whole way to Pittsburgh to watch them (not the game). Guess there's not much that can be done...just a bummer.

Gutsy performance tonight guys... Marc, I'm really impressed how you hung in there. You all handled the lost voice with grace. Hope to see you in Pittsburgh again soon.

    Feel better soon!

This is part of Sky Blast. There will be firework that are launched off of barges on the river and on top of the buildings. It won't be a full length concert, but it will be a good time. Good luck finding great seats since it is Sky Blast. The only seats I could find all together were in the left field bleachers.

Ive been to a pirate post game concert and they played about a 4 to 5 song set. The stage was set up in the infield facing the dugouts which are not cheap seats but most people leave after the game so you can roam to just about anywhere in the stadium to catch the show.

Will this concert be normal length? Where are the best seats for a concert here?
